Hello, and welcome!

These pages are aimed at the complete beginner to kites and flying, and will grow as I come up with ideas........

Some of what I write may seem "obvious" or "simplistic" at times, but believe me - the mistakes some newcomers make are unbelievably obvious - doesn't stop them making them though.

Who'd believe that winding line onto a winder could be done wrong - but there are many "experienced" fliers out there who struggle with this most simple of tasks!

I don't claim to be an "expert" - just someone who's learnt many things the hard way whilst also picking up hints and tips from other fliers - if you can't find any info on a particular topic this will be for one of two reasons - either I haven't got around to writing that bit, or I simply don't know the answer.
